Teens and a gun in Johnston Edgefielddaily.com web posted October 28, 2005 JOHNSTON – Wednesday afternoon found teens in Johnston in the middle of threats with a gun. At 2:30 pm deputies responded to a call on the 200 block of May Street in which a 17 year old male stated he and a friend went to the address to visit a friend, Once in side another teen stuck a gun into his stomach and threatened to, “shoot him”. After the episode the suspect ran out of the apartment. After walking outside a short time later the young man noticed the tires on a 1982 Datsun had been cut and caused about $75.00 in damage. The three men gave Deputy Willie Callaham similar stories about the event. Deputy Callaham searched for the suspected teen but was unable to locate him. The victim was advised of the procedures to gain a warrant for the 18 year old who pointed the gun at him. The young men were able to provide police with the name of the teen with the gun.
