  Home is site of three attempted burglaries in three weeks, one successful web posted October 28, 2006 JOHNSTON – A Johnston man reported a burglary to his Addison Street home late Wednesday night. According to police reports, this is the third similar incident at the home in the past three weeks. When the Johnston Police arrived at the home, located on the 200 block of Addison Street, the homeowner stated he arrived home from work and noticed someone had “kicked in” his back door again. Missing from the home was reportedly $100 in cash kept in a box in a front room in the home. The man told police that on one occasion he came home to find someone tried to get in a window, on another he had someone trying to kick in the back door. The prior incidents were not reported to police. The area was dusted for fingerprints and photographs of the damage to the door were taken. The case has been passed on for investigation by the Johnston Police Department. For
