Dea Baldwin supporter encourages teachers, students, and youth to vote
web
posted June 1, 2010
Dear Editor,
I want to challenge all college students, young adults, and educators
to vote in the Republican primary on June 8th for our next District 83
State Representative. Recent statistics in South Carolina show many in
these groups do not vote. Every vote is important because the decisions
that our next representative will make directly affect all people in
our community in the coming years.
I am particularly interested in how our next representative plans to
work in the area of education. I am a senior at Lander University,
majoring in education. In 2011, I plan to be teaching in a South
Carolina school. As a future South Carolina educator and tax payer, I
want Dea Baldwin to represent my voice in Columbia.
This district would be extremely fortunate if Dea is elected. She has
the experience of having children in public schools, maintaining high
family values, and recognizing the needs of our community. All one
needs to do is look at her creditials and engage in conversation with
her to know she is by far the best choice.
She is truly compassionate, organized, and extremely knowledgeable. She
has a passion for helping all of othe citizens in our state, from the
youngest to the elderly. Even though she is new to the political scene,
she has displayed honesty, high ethics, and her ability to follow rules
implemented to keep this election fair for herself and her opponent. We
need this type of representative in Columbia, one who is not only
honest and hardworking but who has the education and family values that
Dea Baldwin exhibits.
I encourage every registered voter, including college students and
educators, to vote for Dea Baldwin on June 8th. Your vote for her will
insure that the best candidate will represent the needs of the citizens
in District 83.
