Writer wants owner of "Sweet Old Mare" punished
web
posted June 24, 2008
Dear Editor,
Responding to the letter, I know who
this horse was, a girl here at
work took a picture of it on her cell phone, and showed me several
months ago, I called animal control, along with other people calling
for me. I also found out this person who owned the horse was not
charged with anything. I am very upset and something should be
done to the owner.
If it had been anyone else there would have been a charge.
This was cruel and unjust to let a animal go starving and uncared for
like that. I hope this is posted and this person reads this that
owned the horse cause what goes around comes around, there may not be
nothing done on this earth to the owner or owners but a day will
come. No humans or animals should deliberately suffer like
this. If people in edgefield county would get charged for these
types of crimes then there could be more than one person for animal
control, and would not have to go this long for a animal to suffer.
