Writer Discusses Media's Bias Against Donald Trump

web posted October 4, 2016

Dear Editor

The media bias against Trump is planned and coordinated at a national level with the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democrat Party. It is evidenced in the similarity of phrases, allegations, accusations, characterizations. These are used with personal and what has become common Democrat Party vehemence, dishonesty, and, animosity.

Political cartoons, which play a prominent part on op-ed pages, are always anti-Trump. The terms the media uses to diminish Trump and his followers are not supported by the definitions of those words in Webster's Dictionary. Arguably the media, its owners, pundits, and employees are waging a campaign of falsehoods, exaggerations, disinformation, deceit, fraud, and, personal assassination in the belief that much of the population is ignorant of language and its definitions.

The tactic of throwing out allegations, and then discussing these allegations as if they were factual, is a disturbing characteristic of the media. This tactic in the judicial system would be grounds for dismissal of a case against a person, but, the media appears to be gleefully and dishonestly running a "kangaroo court." They have become political propaganda outlets for the Democratic Party. So much for a free and independent press.
