Writer says Massey "man for the job" in Senate race web posted October 24, 2007 Dear Editor, I enthusiastically endorse Shane Massey for the District 25 Senate seat. It is time we elect someone willing to challenge the powers that be and take on the broken system in Columbia. Given how bad it has become in the state legislature, we need some new blood in the state senate. On issue after issue, Shane Massey is offering common sense approaches to the challenges faced by our state. He is right on the need to fight illegal immigration. He is right on the need to promote economic development in South Carolina. He knows that we need to increase government accountability, reform education, and defend our families. I have no doubt that he will be dedicated to each and every one of these issues. While he is only one man, I strongly believe that Shane Massey can and will make a difference. The time for bickering and partisanship is over. South Carolinians are now demanding results. I am confident that Shane Massey is the right choice for the District 25 Senate seat. If you want an honest, hardworking man to represent you, then I encourage the voters of this district to get out and vote for Shane Massey on November the 6th and send a message to the good ol' boys in Columbia!
