JET Talent Show March 4-5
JOHNSTON – JET Middle School will be holding a two-day Talent Show on March 4 and 5 at the school cafeteria beginning each night at 7 pm. Tickets will be sold in advance for the shows. Adult tickets are $5 for each night or a two night ticket is available for $7. Children 2 to 9 years of age are $3 or a two night ticket for $7 and are available at the school. BINGO at Johnston Elementary School
The Johnston Elementary School PTO is having a hot dog supper at 5:30 and Bingo at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday March 4, 2010 in their cafeteria.  We sell the bingo cards for $3.00 and the hotdogs are sold for $1.00.  The drinks and chips are .50 each. Come out and enjoy an inexpensive fun family night and support our local school all at the same time. Thank you to all of the local businesses and parent involvement that help this night be such a success with their donations.

Grief Support Group
Hospice Care of South Carolina offers a free Grief Support Group to local residents who have experienced the loss of a loved one or friend. The group meets the third Wednesday of every month at 10:30am in the Chapel at the Edgefield County Hospital. For more information contact Laurie Robinson at 637-1901.

The date for our annual Plant Sale at STCC is April 3. FFA's students will be
available to help you select spring plants on Sat. - April 3rd from 9AM-12PM (Greenhouse behind the ST football field). Here's a few things you can expect to see:
Mixed Hanging Baskets & pots, Bedding Plants, Ferns, Geraniums, Marigolds, Periwinkle (Vinca), Gerbera Daisies, Lantana, Verbena, Ivy, Impatiens, Purslane, Cockscomb, Petunias, and lots more!
