  Springhaven Drive Home Found Burglarized web posted January 24, 2013 MERRIWETHER – A home on the 600 block of Springhaven Drive was found burglarized Tuesday afternoon when the owner returned to find a window of the back facing garage broken out and items disturbed or missing from inside the home. The door from the garage to the home was left unlocked. Upon investigation, a child's toy guitar was found removed from a bedroom and laying of the floor in the hallway. A Kindle Fire, which was recharging in a bedroom, was missing with the charger still plugged into the wall socket. Nothing else appeared to be missing from the home. Eight pieces of glass from the broken window were found neatly stacked on the outside of the garage with smaller pieces being found scattered on the inside. The stacked glass was seized for evidence as was the toy guitar for further processing for fingerprints. The Kindle Fire is a model X43260 with a serial number of D025A0A0246415V2.
