  Another ATV Theft Reported this Week web posted February 16, 2013 MERRIWETHER – Thieves targeted a Merriwether home near Stevens Road stealing a high-end ATV after cutting through a fence around the yard to gain access to the area where it was stored. The theft is believed to have taken place between Wednesday morning and Thursday afternoon. This is the third such theft this week. The ATV is a yellow 2006 Honda with large chrome wheels and baskets in the front and the rear of the ATV. It has a serial number of 478TE264544300130 and is valued at $7,000. Also stolen was a Makita skill saw, a 36 volt battery charger, a hammer, all valued at a total of $395. Damage to the fence was estimated at $200. Deputies checked with the surrounding neighbors who did not report seeing or hearing anything overnight.
