  Thomson Plane Crash Includes Victim from Merriwether web posted February 23, 2013  MERRIWETHER

According
to information
released, one of the five killed in the plane crash Wednesday night in
Thomson includes a resident of the Merriwether Community. Kimberly
"Kim" Davidson, 43, was among the staff of "The Vein Guys" chartered
flight when it aborted a landing at the airport and struck a power
pole, shearing off the left wing of the small passenger jet.NTSB Officials said there was very little left of the plane when they arrived on the scene. Confirmed killed in the crash include Dr. Steven Roth, Kim Davidson, Tiffany Porter, Heidi McCorkle and Lisa Volpitto. The pilot, Rick Trammell, is in serious condition and his co-pilot is in stable condition at MCG. Mrs. Davidson lived in the Summer Lake subdivision in Merriwether with her husband, Robert, and their two daughters. The funeral will be held Sunday at the Republican Baptist Church.
