  Two arrested in Merriwether drug raid web posted March 24, 2007 MERRIWETHER – Edgefield County Sheriff’s Deputies and Narcotics Investigators raided a Merriwether home on Thursday night arresting the couple living in the Woods Drive home. Dawn Bosdell, 26 and Christopher David Blanton, 24 are facing multiple charges stemming from the raid. An undisclosed amount of marijuana was found in the home during the search. Mr. Blanton was charged with ill treatment of animals, manufacture or distribution of schedule l, ll, lll drugs with the intent to distribute and possession of a controlled substance. He was released on a $5,500 bond on Friday. Ms. Bosdell was charged with ill treatment of animals, manufacture or distribution of schedule l, ll, lll drugs with the intent to distribute and possession of a controlled substance and person in charge placing a child at risk of harm. She was released on a $8,000 bond on Friday as well. Incident reports on the arrests were not available on Friday. The arrests stemmed from an ongoing investigation. For
