MERRIWETHER – Developer Bettis Rainsford hosted a luncheon on Friday in honor of the ETV Road Show filming that has been taking place across Edgefield County over the past month. The luncheon was held at The Grille at Mount Vintage with ETV executives, corporate sponsors, and a host of local dignitaries in attendance.

Mr. Rainsford welcomed everyone to Mount Vintage and spoke of the great things that Edgefield County has to offer and the exposure the filming would bring to the area.

Maurice “Moss” Bresnahan, President and CEO of ETV, said the program spotlighting different areas of the state began in 2001 and this was the ninth episode to be filmed. It will begin airing on May 17 with a live broadcast from Edgefield on May 18. Mr. Bresnahan also thanked the local sponsors, “without you, this would not be possible.”
