  Woman discovers jewelry and bonds stolen web posted May 1, 2007 MERRIWETHER – A Macedonia Road woman came home Sunday around 1:30 pm to find her home broken into and called to report the crime. A deputy arrived and was shown pry marks around the lock on the front door that was used to gain entry into the home. The woman said she was last at her home on Friday afternoon and did not return until Sunday. The woman reported her jewelry box missing from her bedroom that contained around $1,200 in jewelry and $500 in savings bonds. The home was photographed and processed for evidence including fingerprinting. The case has been turned over to the Investigative Division of the Sheriff’s Office. The total loss and damage reported was estimated between $1,500 and $1,800. For
