Currytown Road home burglarized
web
posted July 9, 2008
MERRIWETHER – A Currytown Road man
returning to the family home around 1 am Tuesday and noticed the back
door open and several items missing. The man exited the house and
called 911 to report the burglary. A Sheriff’s Deputy arrived and
“cleared” the house and found no one inside and then called for an
investigator to respond to the home. In just the initial search of the
home almost $10,000 in electronics and musical equipment was missing.
Inside the home all the drawers of dressers were pulled out in every
bedroom and the door to the garage was also open, but nothing was
disturbed in the garage.
The initial list of stolen items included an IMac CS computer (SN:
YD44708YPP7), a Gibson and a Martin guitars, a Korg Triton 61 keyboard,
and a Rolland amplifier valued at $9,550. An undisclosed amount of his
wife’s jewelry was also missing from the master bedroom.
An investigator processed the scene until 4 am but due to the early
stages of the investigation very little additional information was
available.
