Come Discuss Today’s Important Issues and Share Your Views ALL ARE WELCOME www.robertbarber2006.com Fraud reported in Merriwether web posted September 22, 2006 MERRIWETHER – A Merriwether man notified police to a theft and fraud that has been taking place by someone using his mailbox and credit card information. The Eagle Road resident told the deputy that a man has been ordering items using his credit card and then removing the items from his mailbox. The resident also said the same man has also used his address with at least one company in Augusta, Ga. The resident told the officer that he has cancelled the credit card and reported the fraud to his credit card company. The case is presently still active and has been turned over to the Investigative Division of the Sheriff’s Office. For
