  Fox Creek Student Caught Stealing Purse web posted October 13, 2012 MERRIWETHER – Another pep rally has been marred at a local school, this time at Fox Creek Charter High School on October 5, though the theft was not reported until a week later. When an Edgefield County Sheriff's deputy arrived at the school administrators were able to provide video footage showing the student picking up the Coach purse and then leaving the area. The female student, who lives in Aiken County, was not at the school on the day of the report. Her name is not being released due to her age. A copy of the incident report and the footage is being turned over to the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) for further action. Deputies were back out at the school on Friday.
