Merriwether Community Coalition Meeting: Education and the Importance
and Impact on Our Community

MERRIWETHER – The Merriwether Community
Coalition will host a panel discussion at their next meeting. Monday
October 22nd at 6:30 pm at the Merriwether Elementary School
cafeteria. The purpose of this meeting is to inform citizens about
issues that
affect our community. Education has always been an important
factor whether we have children in the educational system, are seeking
higher education, retraining, continuing education or simply live and
work in the community.
There are many forms of education.
It begins in the home carries through kindergarten, middle and high
school, and beyond. We will be discussing and exploring the
various forms of education offered in our community, where we stand and
what our vision is for the future.
If you are a parent, student, business leader, educator, resident of
the community, or an interested citizen, please join us in this
important discussion. This is our community let’s learn about it,
share our knowledge of it, partner where we can and step toward the
future together.

county. Education and economic development are a part of that
