  Laptop stolen in Merriwether burglary web posted October 21, 2009 MERRIWETHER – A Merriwether man reported a burglary to his home on the 80 block of New Delaughter Drive Monday night. The damage to the front door was observed by a Sheriff’s Deputy and photographed for evidence. The only things reported stolen was an Acer Laptop computer and a computer case. The damage to the front door was estimated at $50. The serial number for the computer was given to the deputy for identification but was not provided in incident reports. The theft is believed to have taken sometime between Friday and the reporting of the crime. The case is currently in the hands of investigators.
