Merriwether man bags his biggest buck Edgefielddaily.com web posted October 25, 2005  MERRIWETHER
– Chad Morehouse, of Merriwether, took a massive six point buck Monday afternoon hunting private land on Stevens Creek. The buck weighed around 165 pounds and had a tall six point rack with a spread of 13 1/2inches. The girth of the rack was 5 inches and the bow tines were 4 1/2 inches. The rack raised more than 13 inches from the base. “That’s the biggest deer I’ve ever shot,” Mr. Morehouse said. His plans are to have it mounted he said.
