  Road rage incident ends with injuries, handshake, and no charges web posted December 13, 2007 MERRIWETHER – A case of road rage brought a deputy to the parking lot of Sportsman’s Corner when two men came to blows over an incident that occurred as the two traveled east on Martintown Road Tuesday morning. According to incident reports, one man became angry after the other man passed. When the driver of the passing vehicle stopped at the store’s gas pumps the driver of the other vehicle also turned in and two began to exchange words, and then blows. The two men were separated by others at the scene and one of the men left the scene before the deputy arrived. The second man returned to the scene while the deputy was investigating the incident and both men said they did not want to pursue charges against the other, apologized to each other, and shook hands saying the matter was over. Both men sustained injuries in the altercation, reports show. A comment was sent to the Wandering Minds from the spouse of one of the men involved. ©
