As
rain falls, accident numbers go up Thursday
web posted December 16, 2005 A Lincoln Continental was making a left turn into a driveway just past Currytown Road and Martintown Road when a 19 year old woman tried to stop her Toyota Corolla but said her, “brakes just locked up,” and the car slid into the rear of the Lincoln. The Lincoln suffered little damage to the rear bumper but the Toyota was heavily damaged in the front end. Other collisions reported about the same time were an overturned car on Highway 25 at Moores Drive, with no injuries, and another crash on Plumb Branch Road which also had no injuries. Drivers are asked to slow down on wet roads and to leave extra space between yourself and the car in front of you to allow for braking. For
