 Church vandalized web posted June 28, 2006 MURPHY VILLAGE – Vandals caused over $1,000 in damage to the St. Edwards Catholic Church in Murphy Village last week. According to police reports someone broke the window by throwing rocks at it. Some of the rocks were found inside the building when the deputy arrived. The report came in to the Sheriff’s Office on Friday, June 23, around 8:30 am. The church is protected by an alarm but it did not sound when the window was broken.
