Baby ejected in SUV rollover web posted August 31, 2007 Below: Rescuers prepare to transport the baby EdgefieldDaily.com North Augusta Police and emergency workers arrive and found the baby on the side of the road in the grass with the car seat sitting upright. They began treating the child until EMS could arrive on the scene. The child was removed from the car seat and placed on a small backboard and transported to MCG for treatment. The father suffered only minor injuries. The child safety seat was buckled in the back seat the father said. The father said he was traveling east on Martintown Road and as he entered the four lane section of the road the baby dropped his bottle. When the father reached back to retrieve the bottle he struck the center divider and overcorrected causing the Ford Bronco to hit the right hand curb causing the Bronco to roll. The crash slowed traffic on eastbound Martintown Road for a little over an hour. For
