 Friday update will mark upgrades and vacation web posted June 15, 2006 WEBNEWS – Today if the next to last day of updates for the week as my vacation begins fully on Friday. On behalf of those who make EdgefieldDaily.com possible each day let me say thank you for your support over the last year and a half in making EdgefieldDaily.com so successful. As we near a half a million hits a month and our readership continues to grow, the upgrades we are making will enhance the options available to our readers. Due to the annual upgrades, no updates will be made between Friday, June 16 and Tuesday, June 20. After Tuesday, only major breaking events will be reported on from remote access. On a personal note, I would like to thank the hundreds of readers who encouraged this vacation and I would like to thank the thousands of readers who log into EdgefieldDaily.com each week. For our newer readers I would suggest taking this time to review our archives to become more aware of what has taken place in our county over the past year and a half. An update will be made for Friday June 9. Upon my return on June 26, a major breaking story will be forthcoming. Due to the vacation schedule, it was deemed unadvisable to report it now due to its status. Thank you for making EdgefieldDaily.com the county’s number one outlet for daily local news. Over the past two years I have worked 7 days a week, a minimum of 16 hours a day, to bring you updates each day. The next nine days will be dedicated to my family.
