Digital recordings made available to local libraries by EdgefieldDaily.com web posted July 14, 2006 WEBNEWS – With EdgefieldDaily.com’s never ceasing strive to make the most information available to our readers and the general public a new extension of the web site has been undertaken. For now, the scope will be limited but an expansion of the program will take place later this year. Beginning today, July 14, 2006, digital audio recordings of the Edgefield County Council meetings will be made available free of charge to local libraries. The July 11, 2006 meeting is now at the Edgefield and Johnston Libraries. A copy will be made available at the Trenton Library next week. The County will provide taped recording of the meetings at the Administration Office during working hours (8 am-5 pm Monday- Friday) for you to listen to in office. However, digital recordings are much clearer and will contain comments made even from the back of the room. EdgefieldDaily.com will be seeking a sponsor for the program and will expand the availability of other public meetings including the Edgefield, Johnston, and Trenton Town Councils, The Edgefield Planning Commission, and others. EdgefieldDaily.com is also looking into expanding that service further at a later date to include video DVD’s of the meetings rather than just audio. CD’s of the recording are available for individual purchase for $10 to defray the cost of production. You may mail your request to EdgefieldDaily.com c/o Meetings, PO Box 972 Edgefield, SC 29824 For
