 Strom Thurmond football games available live on the web web posted August 28, 2006 WEBNEWS – As Editor of EdgefieldDaily.com I have faithfully posted game updates of the Strom Thurmond Football games for those our troops overseas fighting the global war on terror and for those who have moved to other parts of the country. Doing so meant I could not attend the games, but that was a small sacrifice to make compared to the sacrifice our troops make every day. That has ended thanks to a joint effort of WJES 92.7 and the Strom Thurmond Technology Department. The games are now broadcast live on the web. Edgefield County School Superintendent Sharon Keesley said Bill O’Neil, the Technology Director for the school, had been working on the project and hoped to have it functioning by last week. The first broadcast was made during the Strom Thurmond vs North Augusta game Friday night. Since the project was doing its first streaming broadcast EdgefieldDaily.com continued the three minute updates for our readers. Next week EdgefieldDaily.com will place the link on the main page on Friday for our out-of-country readers. EdgefieldDaily.com looks forward to attending the games and providing better coverage and photos of the games with the games now being available on the web. For
