Third party removes article from Edgefield
Daily.com Edgefielddaily.com web posted September 20, 2005 WEBNEWS – A story posted on our website regarding Edgefield County Planning Commissioner Jim Oliver disappeared Monday morning from our website. We did not remove the story and it has been reloaded. A quick call to our hosting company found there had been a breach in the website security by a third party. Edgefield Daily.com takes this action very seriously. We will prosecute those identified by our hosting company. It appears the individual tried, unsuccessfully, to hide the access by the preliminary information we received.
