Jennetta Bridges Adams

MERRIWETHER – Funeral Services for Mrs. Jennetta Bridges Adams, 80, of Spring Haven Drive, North Augusta, SC, who went to be with her Heavenly Father January 12, 2009, will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Big Stevens Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Eric Bruton, Dr. Paul W. Noe and Mr. Jerry A. Garvin officiating. Interment in Sweetwater Cemetery.

Mrs. Adams was a native of Richmond County, GA, having made North Augusta her home for the past 68 years. She was a member of Big Stevens Creek Baptist Church, the Saintly Sages and the Women’s Missionary Union. Mrs. Adams was the wife of the late Mr. Epps J. Adams, Jr. and daughter of the late Hugh and Mable Bridges.

Survivors include her four daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Lewis Black, Belvedere, Helen and Jerry Garvin, Trenton, Trish and Rodney Ingle, North Augusta, Genia and Roy Blackwell, Clarks Hill; a brother, Joel V. Bridges, Clarks Hill; a sister, Naomi B. James, Grovetown; eight grandchildren, Chris Black, Dee Brady, Noelle Etheridge, Lauren Sherdian, Aaron Ingle, Leia Mattson, Matthew Blackwell and Christin Blackwell; two great-grandchildren, Justin Black and Alyssa Brady; a sister-in-law, Videssa A. Yates, North Augusta.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Mrs. Adams’ Caregivers.
Active Pallbearers will be Chris Black, Aaron Ingle, Matthew Blackwell, Ryan Brady, Bobby Sheridan, Cliff Etheridge, Joel Mattson and Rick Doyle.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Wednesday evening from 6 until 8. The family will be at the residence of Trish and Rodney Ingle, 680 Spring Haven Drive, North Augusta, SC.
