Harriet Elizabeth “Boots” Bandy

JOHNSTON – Harriet Elizabeth “Boots” Bandy of 404 Coleman Avenue, died March 20, 2011 at University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. Born in Wilson, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late W. C. and Irene McCall Bandy. She was retired from Strom Thurmond High School.

She is survived by her brother, J. W. Bandy (Sandra) of Easley, SC, their children, Chris Bandy (Maggie) of Clemson, SC, Brandon Bandy of Easley, SC and Angie Bandy-Marlow of Easley, SC; her sister-in law, Dot Bandy of McCormick, her sons, John Bandy (Tonia) of Lakefield, MN. and Jeff Bandy (Hope) of Shreveport, LA and numerous great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Harvey Bandy; her niece, Jean Elizabeth Bandy and her nephews Christopher Bandy and Scott Bandy.

The Memorial Service will be Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 3:30 pm at the Johnston First Baptist Church in Johnston with Rev. Thomas D. Barwick, Rev. Athon Arant and Rev. Charles Hattaway officiating. A private burial will be held before the Memorial Service at Overbrook Cemetery in McCormick. The family will receive friends in the church Fellowship Hall immediately following the Memorial Service.

Pallbearers are John Bandy, Jeff Bandy, Chris Bandy, Brandon Bandy, Eddie Edwards, Dawes Edwards, Josh Edwards and Chase Edwards.

The family is at the home of Dot Bandy, 306 Cherry Street, McCormick, SC 29835

Memorials may be made to Winthrop Foundation PE Department, Rock Hill, SC 29733
