Maria Lippert Benner web posted March 4, 2010 EDGEFIELD – Mrs. Maria Lippert Benner, 80, of Plum Branch Rd., wife of Karl Benner, died Tuesday March 2, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Benner was born in Elbogen in the Sudetenland of Germany and was a Homemaker. She was the daughter of the late Lambert and Anna Lippert. Survivors include her husband, sons- Willi Benner, Pete Benner, and Paul (Lisa) Benner, daughter- Maria Maestri, sister- Berta Farney-Ansonia, and one brother- Oskar Lippert. Grandchildren- Sean Benner, Lucas Benner, Matthew Maestri, Amanda Benner, Kate Gardner, Samantha Benner, Wesley Fulghum, and Carrie Anne Fulghum; Great-Grandchildren- Isabella Benner and Nathanael Benner. Mrs. Benner was predeceased by a daughter Anne Gardner and Sisters- Francisca Thum, Liesie Altznauer, Frieda Nemlowicz. Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice. There will be a memorial service held by the family at a later date. Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. © Copyright 2010
