Obituary
Jerry E. Berger
web posted September 26, 2011
TRENTON – Mr. Jerry E. Berger, age 77, of
Trenton, S.C., beloved husband of Sylvia Weidner Berger and son of the
late Jerry Berger and the late Irene Magazine Berger. In addition to
his wife, he is survived by daughters, Jeanett Berger and Terri Lynn
Meggs both of Martinez, Ga. and Lori Ahlbrandt of Las Vegas, Nevada;
sons, Robert Berger of San Diego, CA., Jeffrey Berger of Augusta, Ga.,
Ray Boling of Kansas City, MO. And Troy Boling of Tulsa, OK.; sisters,
Christine Lavine of San Diego, CA., Judy Hatton of Dayton, Ill. and
Sandra Dalle Williams of CA.; fourteen grandchildren and one great
grandchild. He was born in Hutchinson, Kansas but has been a resident
of Graniteville, S.C. for the past twelve years and prior to that, has
been a resident of the CSRA for over forty-two years. He was a
dedicated member of Breezy Hill Baptist Church in Graniteville. He was
a US Army Veteran having bravely served his country during the Korean
Conflict and the Vietnam War. He was a loving husband, father,
grandfather and friend; and he shall be greatly missed by all whose
lives he touched during the 77 years that God granted him on this
earth; however, life does not end with death, as the gift of God is
eternal life in a land where no more goodbyes are ever spoken and no
more hearts are ever broken. A memorial service with Military Honors
will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 7:00 PM at Breezy Hill
Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Riley officiating. Napier Funeral Home,
315 Main St., Graniteville, S.C. 29829 is in charge of the funeral
arrangements. To sign our guest register, you may log on to www.napierfuneralhomeinc.com.
