Helen Guobaitis Berry web posted May 29, 2008 EDGEFIELD – Mrs. Helen Guobaitis Berry, 63, of Legacy Lane, died May 26, 2008 at her residence. A Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Berry was born in Germany and was the daughter of the late Vince Guobaitis and Mrs. Nancy Taustobaite Guobaitis. She was the co-owner of Tri-Star Contractors and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Survivors include one son, Richard (Alison) Berry, Edgefield; her mother of Edgefield; two brothers, Vincent K. Guobaitis, Augusta and Richard J. Guobaitis, Miami, Fla. A Rosary will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home and the family will receive friends following the rosary from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The family is at the home of her mother on Addison St. ©
