John Broadwater, Jr. web posted December 21, 2011 TRENTON – Rev. John Broadwater, Jr., of 4 Lilac Loop, entered into rest December 19, 2011 at his residence. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Rev. Broadwater, a native of Edgefield County was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Survivors include a devoted grandson, Qualan Broadwater of the home; six daughters, Dorothy Sullivan, Patricia Broadwater, North Augusta, SC; Katie Lanham, Mary Broadwater, Sondra Broadwater and Cynthia Broadwater, Trenton, SC; eight sons, George Broadwater, John (Joyce) Broadwater, III, Melvin (Denise) Broadwater, Earnest (Joeann) Broadwater, Robert Broadwater, Trenton, SC; Bruce Broadwater, Atlanta, GA; Steven (Natasha) Broadwater, Beech Island, SC and Kenneth Butler, Aiken, SC; two sisters, Georgia Mae Williams, Belvedere, SC and Carrie (Larry) Poole, North Wilkesboro, NC; three brothers, Elester (Mary) Broadwater, Atlanta, GA ;Ernest Broadwater, Belvedere, SC and Robert (Belinda) Broadwater, East Point, GA; 32 Grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
