JOHNSTON – Mr. George David Bush, age 90, died
Thursday, April 2, 2009. A private graveside service was held at
Sunset Gardens Memorial Parkon Friday, April 3, 2009. Memorials may be made to MCG Health
Children's Medical Center, 1120 15th Street, Suite BA 8270, Augusta,
Ga. 30912 or to Hospice Care of SC, 510 Augusta Road, Suite B,
Edgefield, SC 29824. Mr. Bush, a native of Johnston, was a son of the
late Andrew St. Pierre and Maggie Rhoden Bush. He retired from Milliken
and Co. and was a member of Philippi Baptist Church. Survivors include
daughters: Margaret Randall (Lenzy) and Donna Strom (Ronald); 5
grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Mr. Bush was preceded in death
by his wife of 62 years, Claudine Derrick Bush; a daughter, Betty Ann
Bush and a grandson: Travis Abney. The family would like to express
special thanks to Mr. Bush's care givers: Edith Waldrop, Damieon Bryant
and Juanita Merriweather.
