Anthony Tony S. Creasy

MERRIWETHER – Mr. Anthony Tony S. Creasy, 68, husband of Florence P. Creasy, of Eagle Road, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at University Hospital. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 am today, May 6, 2011 in the Rowland Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Monk officiating. Interment will be private. Tony was a truck driver for 43 years and really enjoyed his 18 wheeler. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and at one time he raced at the old Nashville track. He loved his children and grandchildren very much and was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. Additional survivors include two sons, Scott Creasy, Jr. and Jeff Creasy both of Nashville, TN; five daughters, Darla Gaines, Lori Creasy, both of Nashville, TN, Vicki Creasy Bowman and her husband Ken of Augusta, GA, Zandra Creasy Hurt and her husband Roy, and Tiffany Creasy all of North Augusta, SC; two brothers, Jerry Creasy and his wife Julie of Hendersonville, TN, and Clyde Lee Creasy of Springfield, TN; three sisters, Mary Ludie Mooneyhan of White House, TN, Donna Gail Creasy, and Joann Swafford and her husband Wade, all of Greenbrier, TN; six grandchildren, Daniel Pate, Jordan Gains, Kara Gains, Rozalynne Pate, Gavin Bowman, and Brian Mere; and other special loved children. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Miriam Atkins and staff, Dr. Brezinia, and to Dr. Jerry Lambert. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening, Thursday, May 5, 2011 from 6 to 8 pm.
