Obituary

Myrtis Lybrand Deloache

web posted March 31, 2011

NORTH AUGUSTA – Mrs. Myrtis Lybrand Deloache, 92, of North Augusta, SC, wife of the late Heber Deloache, entered into rest Tuesday, March 29th, 2011. Born in Johnston, SC, she was a daughter of the late Ed Lee Lybrand and the late Fannie Derrick Lybrand. She retired from Murray Biscuit Company after twenty years of service and was of the Lutheran faith. Mrs. Deloache had been a resident of North Augusta, SC most of her life. As her health began to decline she moved to Lexington, SC, to be closer to her son Eddie and later moved to Calhoun, GA, to be closer to her son James, where she resided until her death. A very simple person, Mrs. Deloache, read her Bible daily and enjoyed cooking and being with her family and friends. She is survived by her sons, James H. (Jim) Deloache, (Diane) Calhoun, GA and Eddie L. Deloache, (Cathy) Lexington, SC; a brother, Rufus Lybrand, Johnston, SC; grandchildren, Amy Dimeler, Stacy Foster, Katie Corley and David Deloache and great-grandchildren, Erin Dimeler, Hannah Dimeler, Gracin Foster, Scott Corley and Jacob Corley. Siblings, Charles Lybrand and Maude Rawl, also preceded her in death. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 2ND, 2011, at 12 o'clock from the graveside in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC, with Pastor John Wertz officiating. The family has asked that memorials be made to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 1186 Mt. Calvary Rd., Johnston, SC 29832. Visit www.HatcherFuneral Home.com to share memories of Mrs. Deloache. The family will greet friends Saturday, April 2nd, 2011, from 10 o'clock until 11:45 at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation U.S. Hwy. Langley, SC
