EDGEFIELD - Mr. Izell Dobey, Sr., 80, of Glover Street, entered into rest March 21, 2006 at Trinity Mission Health & Rehab. Center. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Mr. Dobey, a native of Edgefield County, was a member and deacon of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Edgefield. Survivors include his wife, Lizzie Jackson Dobey; four daughters, Lovetta Dobey, Beech Island, Beatrice (Robert) Burnett, Chapel Hill, N.C., Millicent (Chad) Punett and Jeanie McLean, Brooklyn; four sons, George Dobey, Edgefield, Izell (Barbara) Dobey, Jr., Adell (Jozell) Dobey, Trenton and Terry Dobey, Brooklyn; three sisters, Rose McManus, Edgefield, Irene Byrd, Aiken and Pearl Jones, Peek skill, NY; 22 grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
