Mary Cauthen Grant web posted May 19, 2011 NORTH AUGUSTA – Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Cauthen Grant, 88, of West Five Notch Road, North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest May 16, 2011, will be conducted Thursday morning at 11 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Rev. H. B. Johnson officiating. Interment in Westover Memorial Park. Mrs. Grant was a native of Augusta having made North Augusta her home for the past 60 years. She was a member of the North Augusta Southern Methodist Church and the Daughters of American Revolution. Mrs. Grant was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, James Ralph Grant, Sr. and her son, James Ralph Jimmy Grant, Jr. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Virgil and Debra Grant, Forest City, NC; two daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Blake Moore, Aiken and Susan and Tom House, North Augusta; a daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Grant, Appling, GA; a sister Ethel C. Widgeon, Augusta; 14 grandchildren, Natalie (Neal) Umbarger, Ashley (Ken) Fulmer, Erin (Matt) Zimmerman, Sarah (Matthew) Alexander, Robbie Grant, Donna (Larry) Kliewer, Tammy Grant, Kristie (Jamie) Parker, Jason Moore, Cheryl (Greg) Hathaway, Mary Kay Sola, Marty Silver, Patty Schmidt and Tommy Silver; 17 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Johnny Crim, Michael Markwalter, Neal Umbarger, Matt Zimmerman, Ken Fulmer and Matthew Alexander. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Wednesday evening from 6 until 8. Memorials may made to the North Augusta Southern Methodist Church, 615 W.
