Sharon Angela McFarland Griffith web posted January 31, 2011 TRENTON – Mrs. Sharon Angela McFarland Griffith, 47, of Trenton, beloved wife of Gerald B. Griffith, died Sunday January 30, 2011 at her residence. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday February 2, 2011 at 1 P.M. at Sweetwater Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Griffith was born in Augusta, Ga. and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and Former Secretary for Johnston Methodist Church and Harmony United Methodist Church. The loves of her life were her children, her family, her church, and she was an avid Strom Thurmond football fan and avid supporter of the Booster Club. Survivors include her husband, her Parents- Robert A. “Bob” and Annette Coursey McFarland, North Augusta; 1 Daughter- Ashton Griffith, 1 Son- Cody Griffith, both of the home; 1 Grandson- Dayton Griffith; 1 Sister- Sherry Manly, Edgefield, and 1 Brother- Rob A. McFarland, Atlanta, Ga. Memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church, 1843 Hwy 23 West, Edgefield, S.C. 29824.
