Jean Reel Huiet

TRENTON – Mrs. Jean Reel Huiet, 80, of West Wise St., wife of J. Fritz Huiet, died Thursday June 5, 2008 at Aiken Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Sunday June 8, 2008 at 2 P.M. at Edgefield United Methodist Church with burial in Ebenezer Cemetery in Trenton. Mrs. Huiet was born in Edgefield County and was a Member of Edgefield United Methodist Church. She was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Gamma's greatest love was her family and she was truly devoted to family and friends. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Fred (Harriet) Huiet, Columbia, Wally (Susan) Huiet, Aiken; three daughters, Sandra (Tommy) Grandy, Trenton, Connie (Jim) Harling, Edgefield, Beverly (Bill) Burch, Aiken; one brother, Jack Reel, Johnston; 10 grandchildren, Fredrick Huiet, III, Candler Tindall, Sheri Rupp, Kelli Rhodes, Jonathan Harling, Fran Clary, Leslie Shumpert, Blakely and Blaine Burch, Fallon Baldonado and 11 great-granchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Wallace and Connie Reel and a brother Wallace Reel. Memorials may be made to the Edgefield United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 25 Edgefield, S.C. 29824 or to the charity of one's choice. The family is at the home and will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 8 P.M. at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
