Naomi Bridges James

GROVETOWN – Mrs. Naomi Bridges James, 80, wife of
George 'Doodle' James, Jr., entered into rest on Wednesday, November
10, 2010, at the Medical College of Georgia. Funeral services will be
held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 12, 2010, in the Bellevue Memorial
Gardens Chapel with the Reverend Tony Henderson officiating. Interment
will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Mrs. James was a native of
Richmond County and was a retired Insurance Clerk from Murray Biscuit
Company. She was a member of the Clifford Memorial Presbyterian Church.
She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who served the Lord. She
will be truly missed by her friends, family and loved ones. Survivors
include her husband, George James, Jr.; two sons, Ricky (Pat) James and
George (Sheilah) James III, of Grovetown; three daughters, Michelle
(Rick) Doyle, Harlem, Diane (Toby) Pittman and Elaine (Richard)
Matthews of Grovetown; one brother, Joel Bridges, Clark Hill, SC; and
13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and
nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents,
Hugh and Mable Bridges and sister, Jennetta Adams. Pallbearers will be
Clifford (Bubba) Ward, Wayne Thompson, Clifford James, Darryl James,
Doug James, Tony Matthews and Justin Pittman. Memorials may be made to
the Clifford Memorial Presbyterian Church, 110 E. Robinson Ave.,
Grovetown, GA 30813. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 7
- 9 PM at Starling Funeral Home, Hwy 78, Harlem, GA. Please visit www.starling funeralhome.com
