Jeremy Wesley Jay

EDGEFIELD – Mr. Jeremy Wesley Jay, 27, of Church St. husband of Alison Holley Jay, died Monday 10-26-2009 in Edgefield.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday 10-29-2009 at 11 A.M. at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Trenton with burial in Ebenezer Cemetery.

Mr. Jay was born in Augusta, Ga. and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. He was an Electrician at South Carolina Dept. of Corrections in Trenton.

Survivors include his wife, His Parents- Joseph A. and Barbara Quarles Jay, Johnston, 1 Sister- Lindsey J. (Justin) Collar, Bluffton, S.C., Paternal Grandparents- Joseph W. and Doris Jay, Johnston, Maternal Grandparents- Ebbie and Becky Rhoden, Johnston, His Father-in-Law and Mother-in- Law, Bobby and Wanda Holley, North Augusta, Brother-in-Law- Aaron Holley, North Augusta, and a nephew- Ben Collar. He was predeceased by his Maternal Grandfather Mr. Melvin Quarles.

The family is at the home on Church St. and will receive friends from 5 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home
