Julia (Judy) Moore Jenkins web posted November 27, 2008 EDGEFIELD – Mrs. Julia (Judy) Moore Jenkins, 78, of Adams St., died Wednesday 11-26-08 in Greenwood. Funeral Services will be held Friday 11-28-08 at 2 P.M. at Berea Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Mrs. Jenkins was born in Edgefield County and was a member of Berea Baptist Church. She was Retired from Crest Manufacturing Co. and was a Homemaker. Survivors include 1 daughter- Connie Davis, Myrtle Beach, 5 Sisters- Effie McDowell, Lorene Bussey, both of Edgefield, Mary Sue Hill, Chappels, Margaret Godfrey, Janie Godfrey, both of Woodruff. 1 Brother- Floyd Moore, Sr., Cross Hill.,2 Grandchildren- Wendy Brock and Roger Davis, Jr., 3 Great-Grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Berea Baptist Church, 508 Bausket St. Edgefield, S.C. 29824. The family is at the home of her sister, Effie McDowell on Mims St. and will receive friends Thursday from 4 to 6 P.M. at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home. ©
