Georgia Annie Jones web posted January 28, 2012 EDGEFIELD – Mrs. Georgia Annie Jones, 92, of Jones Road, entered into rest January 26, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2011 at China Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Henry Gilchrist officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Jones, a native of Edgefield County was a member of China Grove Baptist Church where she served on the choir and chief of usher board. Survivors include four daughters, Irene (David) Simpkins, Edgefield; Georgia (Rev. Luther) Garrett, McCormick; Edith Jones, Washington, DC and Mary (Larry) Cunningham, Edgefield; two sons, Floyd (Gladys) Martin, Washington, DC and Joe Louis Jones, Edgefield; 29 grandchildren, 71 great grandchildren, 35 great great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends. Friends may call the residence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. G. L.
