Robbie Lee Landrum, Sr

MERRIWETHER – Funeral services for Mr. Robbie Lee Landrum, Sr., 62, of Dock Drive, North Augusta, SC who went home to be with the Lord April 29, 2008 will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Big Stevens Creek Baptist Church. Dr. Phillip Burden and Pastor Allen Cantrell officiating. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mr. Landrum was a native of Sylvania, GA, a former resident of Beach Island, having made North Augusta his home for the past seven years. He was a member of Big Stevens Creek Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and a member of the Adult Men's III Herbert Bunch Sunday School Class. Mr. Landrum retired from Clarient Corporation with 18 years of service and was the son of the late Joe and Ruth Landrum. He was a loving husband, father, papa, brother, son and friend. Survivors include his wife Brenda Carpenter Landrum; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robbie Lee and Kelly Landrum, Jr., Evans and Raymond D. Landrum, North Augusta; two brothers, Joe Landrum, Jr., Sylvania, GA and Mike Landrum, Darien, GA; a sister, Nelle McNeely, Martinez; three grandsons, Cody Landrum, Cameron Landrum and Austin Landrum. Honorary Pallbearers will be Deacons of Big Stevens Creek Baptist Church and members of the Adult Men's III Herbert Bunch Sunday School Class. Active Pallbearers will be Don Shepard, Wilbur Mathews, Carlton Robins, Terry Googe, Kent Kinard ,Charlie Hair and Richard Williams. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Wednesday evening from 6 to 8. Memorials may be made to the Big Stevens Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, 1850 West Martintown Road, North Augusta, SC 29860.
