Elizabeth “Diddy” Arthur Turner Langley web posted July 15, 2009 EDGEFIELD – Mrs. Elizabeth “Diddy” Arthur Turner Langley, 82, of Red Hill Rd., wife of John Edward Langley, died Tuesday July 14, 2009 at Trinity Mission Health & Rehab. Funeral Services will be held Friday July 17 at 11 A.M. at Antioch Baptist Church with burial in Eastview Cemetery in Edgefield. Mrs. Langley was born in Edgefield, S.C. and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She was a retired Textile Worker. Survivors include her husband, 3 Sons- Mike (Tonya) Turner, Warrenville, S.C., Glenn (Sheryl) Turner, Chris (Cherrill) Turner, both of Edgefield; 3 Daughters- Beth (Jimmy) McCary, Vickie (Danny) Riley, Terri (Greg) Godfrey, all of Edgefield; 3 Step-children- Willie (Fran) Langley, Robert (Lynn) Quarles, and Edward Langley.; 14 Grandchildren, and a host of Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren. Mrs. Langley was predeceased by her first husband Babe Turner and a Great- Grandchild Amanda Turner. Memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church, 1843 Hwy 23 West Edgefield, S.C. 29824. The family is at the home of her daughter Terri Godfrey on Rabbit Trail and will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home. © Copyright 2009
