Dorothy McFarland Livingston web posted January 12, 2010 NORTH AUGUSTA – Ms. Dorothy McFarland Livingston, 91, affectionately known as "Nanny" and beloved wife of the late Paul McFarland and the late James Livingston, went home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Sunday, January 10, 2010. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Rowland Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Kiser officiating. Burial will be at Pineview Memorial Park. Mrs. Livingston was a native of Cleveland County, NC and has made her home in North Augusta for over 50 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of North Augusta, the CSRA Camping Club, Jimmy Keller Sunday School Class, and the Sheffield Club. Nanny's loved ones include: two sons: Ralph H (Sherrianne) McFarland, Trenton, SC, and Robert A. (Annette) McFarland of North Augusta; two daughters: Sarah (Milton) Scott of Keysville, GA and Janice McElmurray of North Augusta, SC; one sister: Helen Christensen of Provo, UT; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 5 great-step-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two brothers: John Harrill & Max Harrill; two sisters: Pansy Olson & Barbara Gleave; one grandson: Randy Scott; and one son-in-law: Harold McElmurray. Nanny's great grandsons will serve as pallbearers: Adam Baker, Tyler Padgett, Tamp McClellan, Tanner McClellan, Cody Griffith, Holton Manly, Hammond Manly, Hudson Manly, & Jess Maddox. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening, Monday, January 11, 2010, from 5:00 until 7:00 pm.
