Mattie B. Key McCain web posted June 2, 2010 NORTH AUGUSTA – Mrs. Mattie B. Key McCain, 72, of Lakeview Road, entered into rest May 30, 2010 at UPAC of Aiken. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, June 3, 2010, at Carey Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Clifford Williams officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. McCain, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Carey Hill Baptist Church where she served on the deaconess ministry, choir ministry, and couples ministry. Survivors include her husband, Johnnie F. McCain, North Augusta, S.C.; a daughter, Lisa McCain- Walker (Byron), Lithia Springs, Ga.; a son, Larry McCain (Cynthia), Augusta, Ga.; two sisters, Florine Worley, Jersey City, N.J. and Irene Mobley, Philadelphia, Pa.; a brother, Alonzo Key (Rosa Lee), Augusta, Ga.; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
