"Ali" Rose McCartyweb posted October 9, 2008 MONETTA, S.C. - Alissa "Ali" Rose McCarty, 18, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 10, at Bethel Baptist Church with internment in Ridge Spring Cemetery with Rev. Mark Collins and Rev. Chris Yeargin officiating. Pallbearers will be Jason McKay, Jonathan McKay, Kerry Cockrell, John Collins, Brantley Rose and Garrett Rose. She was born in Lexington, daughter of Heyward and Wanda Rose McCarty. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She helped with VBS, mission work and she enjoyed working with children. She was an honor graduate from Wardlaw Academy and she attended USC Aiken with full scholarship. Surviving are her parents, Heyward and Wanda McCarty; brother, Jacob McCarty; grandparents, Don and Norma McCarty of Monetta; Jim and Kathryn Rose of Johnston. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 9, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home. Memorials can be made to: Bethel Baptist Church, P.O.
