Mrs. Lynn McCord Byars

TRENTON – Mrs. Lynn McCord Byars, 41, wife of Robin Byars, of Hilton Dr., died Thursday August 16.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday August 19 at 2 P.M. at Ebenezer Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery.

Mrs. Byars was a native of Edgefield County. She was a homemaker and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; mother and father- James W. and Bertha Holmes McCord, Trenton; Two sons- David McCord Byars, West Columbia, Gavin Byars; one daughter- Byanica Byars, both of Mass; one grandchild- Vera Lynn Byars; one sister- Janet (Jack) Anderson, Sugar Mountain, NC; one brother- Wesley (Debra) McCord, Granitevile; paternal grandmother- Elizabeth McCord, Trenton and several nieces and nephews.

The family is at the home of her parents on 953 Watson Road and will receive friends Saturday August 18 from 6 to 8 PM at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
